Set of 8 traditional English Windsor chairs, specifically Double-Back or Comb-Back Windsor chairs with central pierced splats. The set comprises 2 armchairs/captains and 6 side chairs, with bowed spindle backs, shaped saddle seats, turned legs, andcurved stretchers. A green inventory tag marked 1195 is visible; no maker’s mark or label is readable. Visible condition includes finish wear, scratches, abrasions, uneven sheen, and scuffing to the seats, frames, legs, stretchers, and feet. At leastone chair has a prominent split or crack near the front edge of the seat; its structural significance cannot be determined from photographs. Worn or chipped areas are visible at several feet and lower edges. Joint tightness, stability, hiddenrepairs, and the condition of all chairs require in-person inspection.
