One framed painting depicting an orange-red fruit, likely a Japanese persimmon, on a branch against a dark blue-green landscape. The lower-right signature appears to read “Tran Speer ’90.” The reverse bears a handwritten notation apparentlyreferencing a Japanese persimmon from a tree in Moscow, Texas; includes the attached frame, backing, and hanging wire. The distressed gilt-toned frame has abrasions, chips, speckling, finish loss, and exposed underlayer. The reverse paper backing isaged, stained, torn, split, and detached in areas. The painted surface appears intact in the supplied views, though detailed examination for craquelure, retouching, or other surface issues is limited.
