Vinylux, Repurposed Records into Coasters

Lot of six circular record-label-style coasters or discs. Five reproduce labels for Mary Martin in “The Sound of Music” (CBS Masterworks JS 32601), Connie Francis (MGM SE 4298), RCA Victor “Turn Back the Hands of Time,” David Gates “First” (ElektraEKS-75066), and The Platters “More Encore of Golden Hits” (Mercury MG-20591). The sixth is transparent and marked “Vinylux® vintage vinyl design” and “RECYCLED RECORD COASTERS.” Both photographs show the same six pieces from opposite label sides.Surface dust, handling marks, glare, scratches, scuffs, edge wear, label fading or discoloration, and grime are visible. The transparent Vinylux piece has numerous scratches or scuffs and small brownish discoloration or residue spots; the DavidGates/Elektra piece has pronounced brown/orange discoloration. No cracks, warping, or major breaks are conclusively visible. Playback functionality and whether the five opaque pieces are permanently converted coasters cannot be determined. Nosleeves, jackets, holders, packaging, stands, or written lot tags are visible.
