One 1956-D United States Lincoln Wheat cent with Lincoln obverse and wheat-ear reverse, housed in a white cardboard 2×2 holder. The coin displays the date 1956, an apparent D mint mark, and the legends “LIBERTY,†“IN GOD WE TRUST,†“ONE CE“UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,†and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.†The coin appears circulated or surface-worn, with marks and discoloration. Glare partly obscures the mint mark, and the coin has not been professionally graded or tested. The holder has scratdust, reflections, handwritten notes, and minor handling wear; its edges and rim are not assessable. The holder notation “DDO-002†may refer to a doubled-die variety, but that attribution is unconfirmed.
