One circulated U.S. Lincoln Wheat cent with a date appearing as 1928 and a faint mint mark consistent with S, housed in a white cardboard 2x2 holder. The holder is handwritten “1928-S,†“FINE,†“SCARCE,†and “248.†“FINE†and “Sannotations, not an official grade or certification. The coin shows substantial circulation wear, brown/copper toning, surface marks, abrasions, and spots. The holder has handling wear, staples, and reflections or apparent scuffing on the plasticwindow.
