One apparent 1919 United States Lincoln Wheat cent in a stapled cardboard 2x2 holder with a clear window. The holder label reads “1919,†“MINT ERROR,†and “LAMINATED PLANCHET,†with additional uncertain notations including “S,†“VGD“[13?].†The coin’s Lincoln obverse and Wheat reverse support identification as a Lincoln Wheat cent. The alleged lamination and mint mark are not confirmed. Very heavily circulated and worn, with weak design detail, dark brown, gray, andcopper-colored discoloration, abrasion, scratches, stains, and an irregular rough or peeling-looking area. Glare obscures portions of both sides. The holder and handwritten label show handling wear and discoloration. No professional grading holder orcertification is present. The laminated-planchet wording is an associated holder claim, not a certified error attribution.
