One 1879 United States one-dollar coin in a clear plastic holder with a handwritten “1879†label and an additional blank or mostly unreadable paper label. The coin has a Liberty Head obverse and heraldic eagle reverse with inscriptions includingPLURIBUS UNUM,†“UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,†“IN GOD WE TRUST,†and “ONE DOLLAR.†The design is consistent with a Morgan dollar, but that attribution is not fully verified from the photographs. The coin shows substantial circulation weardetails, gray-brown toning or discoloration, dark spots, and surface marks. The holder has scratches, glare, reflections, and dust or residue. The reverse and mint-mark area are partly obscured and difficult to assess. Mint, composition,authenticity, grade, weight, diameter, and edge characteristics were not verified; no testing or certification is provided.
