Signed Limited Edition Line Drawing An original limited edition line drawing print by noted British-Canadian artist Adrian Dingle (1911–1974), signed by the artist in the lower right. Executed in 1967 as part of Canada's Centennial celebrations, the work depicts St. Peter's Anglican Church overlooking the Credit River in Erindale, Ontario, rendered in Dingle's expressive linear style with bold black ink and energetic architectural forms. The work commemorates the historic Erindale community and was issued as the "Heritage of Erindale 1967" Centennial project. Adrian Dingle (1911–1974) is best known as a painter, illustrator, and the creator of the pioneering Canadian comic book character Nelvana of the Northern Lights, while also enjoying a successful post-war career as a landscape painter and printmaker.
