Description Vintage Japanese-made fixed blade fighting/utility knife marked JAPAN on the ricasso. Features an approximately 7-inch clip-point blade with a fuller, stacked leather handle, steel crossguard, and steel pommel. Includes a black leather sheath with belt loop. This commercial knife was manufactured in Japan during the mid-20th century and is patterned after the classic U.S. Mark 2/Ka-Bar fighting knife. Maker: Japan (Commercial Manufacture) Country of Origin: Japan Approximate Era: 1960s–70s Overall Length: Approximately 12 inches Blade Length: Approximately 7 inches Condition: Blade shows evidence of sharpening with scratches and light wear from use. Stacked leather handle is tight with expected age-related wear. Crossguard and pommel exhibit light finish wear. Black leather sheath appears to be a later replacement and remains in good usable condition. Wear appropriate for age. Please preview in person for exact condition.
