Estimated Date: 1989 Era: Cold War Era / Space Exploration Commemorative War: Cold War Description Limited Edition Schrade folding lockback knife commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing (July 20, 1969). This collectible features smooth ivory-colored synthetic handles with detailed Apollo 11 artwork on one side and commemorative text on the reverse: "20th Anniversary Apollo 11 Landing on the Moon July 20, 1969." The master blade is etched “Limited Edition”, and the knife includes a newer Schrade embossed leather belt sheath with snap closure and belt loop. Measures approximately 8.5 inches open and 5 inches closed. The knife retains strong graphics and a clean blade with light handling wear. The bolsters show some oxidation/patina, and the handle scales remain solid with no visible cracks. The leather sheath is in very good condition with minimal wear and appears to be a later Schrade replacement rather than the original issue. A desirable collectible for Schrade knife collectors, Apollo 11 and NASA memorabilia enthusiasts, space exploration collectors, and vintage American pocket knife fans. Condition: Very good vintage condition with light signs of age and handling. Blade is clean with crisp etching, commemorative artwork remains sharp, and the knife appears mechanically sound. Sheath is clean and fully functional. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
