Empty vintage wooden cigar box marked “ALLES & FISHER’S,” “J.A.,” and “BOSTON, MASS.” The box has a hinged lid with a crossed-cigars emblem and is additionally marked “CLASS C,” historical cigar-tax wording, and “MEDIUM.” Heavily worn overall, withabrasion, discoloration, paper losses, lifting, chipped edges, dents, scratches, and finish loss. The hinge is tarnished, and operation was not tested. The empty interior has mottling, oxidation-like discoloration, residue, and substantial finishloss; its lining material is unconfirmed. No cigars, inserts, or loose accessories are included. The trademark number, dark label below “MEDIUM,” and handwritten inventory sticker are only partly legible.
