White glazed porcelain covered sugar bowl or serving vessel attributed to Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur, Waldenburg, with two ornamental loop handles, removable domed lid, molded gadrooned ribs, split-ribbon-style finial, and fluted pedestal foot. Theunderside bears a printed symbol resembling a vertical line with a crossbar above “KPM.” An attached paper label reads “Berlin / K.P.M. / 1840.” But it is incorrect, should be between 1870 and 1920 Dust, gray-brown grime, and interior soiling arevisible, particularly around the foot, recessed decoration, and bowl interior. The handle terminals and finial appear rough in areas, with possible small chips, losses, or abrasions. No obvious major body crack is visible in the photographs, but thelid rim, handles, finial, and foot require examination for hairlines, repairs, and additional losses. The underside mark is not sufficiently clear for definitive authentication, and the paper label may obscure additional markings.
