R Serial # 41063. .348 Win. caliber lever action rifle with a 24” barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with strong rifling with some light to moderate fouling. Made in 1955. Half-length magazine tube. The blued metal finish on the barrel and magazine tube is in very good to excellent condition showing little wear with some scattered light scratches. The blued metal finish on the receiver is in good condition showing edge wear, carry wear and thinning with scattered light scratches and some scattered light freckling. The exposed metal is turning brown. The checkered walnut stock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition showing little use with some scattered light marks. Checkered steel butt plate. Original front and rear sights including the front sight hood. Original swivels. The action works fine. Made from 1935 to 1957. C&R.
