R Serial # F50403. 16 Ga. double barrel shotgun with 28” barrels. The bores are excellent, mostly clean and shiny with some light dust/fouling. The barrels are both choked Full. Double triggers with extractors. The metal finish on the barrels is a blotchy gray/black/brown patina with thinning, scratches and scattered light surface rust freckling. There is carry wear that was touched up with cold blue long ago. The receiver is engraved with game birds and is mostly a gray patina with dings, scratches and carry wear with some patches of older cleaned surface rust. There are traces of case colors visible. The blued trigger guard shows heavy wear with scratches. The checkered walnut forearm and the matching butt stock have had extra finish added years ago and are in good condition showing scattered dings and scratches with wear to the checkering along with finish wear. Plastic butt plate. The action works fine. Made from 1918 to 1946. C&R.
