Walther Model P-38

R Serial # 6277. 9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol with a 5” barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with good rifling with fouling in the grooves. Made in Germany in 1944. Marked “ac 44” on the left side of the slide. Detachable magazine is P-38 marked. The pistol appears to be all matching. WaA359 Waffenampts on the frame and right side of the slide. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in good condition showing edge wear, thinning and scratches. The metal finish on the slide is in good condition showing edge wear, thinning and scratches with scattered light freckling. The blued metal finish on the frame is in good condition showing edge wear with heavier wear on the underside of the trigger guard and on the front grip frame. The grooved black plastic grips are in good condition showing light scuffs and scratches. The action works fine, including the de-cocker function. C&R.
