Swiss Schmidt Rubin Model K31 Carbine

R Serial # 532351. 7.5x55mm Swiss caliber bolt action rifle with a 26” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made in Switzerland. Unique straight pull action with a 6 shot detachable magazine. The last of the Schmidt Rubin series of military rifles. Made in 1934. The original blued military finish on the barrel is in very good condition showing muzzle wear with light edge wear along with some scattered light scratches. The blued finish on the receiver is in very good condition showing slight thinning with light edge wear. The floor plate/trigger guard shows light edge wear. The hardwood stock and hand guard are in very good condition showing scattered dings, scratches and finish wear. Discreetly import marked on the barrel. All matching numbers. Original military sights along with a US Made Swiss products clamp-on diopter target sight. The action works fine. Includes a muzzle cap. Made from 1933 to 1958 and stayed in Swiss military service until 1970. C&R.
