A stylized figure (often interpreted as a mythical or heraldic guardian) appears above/with the lion. “POSTES PERSANES” appears in a banner at the bottom, with Persian script above. Value tablets show “3” on the left and “ch” on the right.Color: Green (sometimes described as green on bluish paper in catalogue notes for certain printings).Period: Matches the 1907–1909 issues associated with the short reign of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar (or the immediate transitional period around the death of Muzaffar ed-Din Shah in early 1907).
