A Chinese snuff bottle, likely late Qing Dynasty to Republic period, circa late 19th to early 20th century. The baluster-form body, possibly of bovine bone, is deeply carved in high relief with lotus flowers and dragonflies over a geometric diaper-patterned ground. The piece is fitted with metal mounts at the rim and foot, with the base bearing a stamped four-character seal mark. The bottle is complete with its original matching carved stopper and attached spoon.

Chinese Snuff Bottle Carved Bone Qing Republic Lotus Dragonfly Seal Mark

Dust Factory Auctions offers antique and vintage items that proudly display the natural signs of their age and previous use.
