A lot of two American pressed glass toothpick holders, circa late 19th century. The first is a boot-form holder in sapphire blue glass with amber staining, featuring a molded 'Bird and Wheat' motif. The second is a figural 'Hatching Chick' holder in vaseline glass, which fluoresces under ultraviolet light. Both pieces are characteristic examples of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) novelties.

EAPG, Vaseline Glass, Uranium Glass, Toothpick Holder, Victorian, Pressed Glass, Figural Glass, Hobbs, Beatty-Brady, Bird and Wheat, Hatching Chick, Sapphire Blue

Dust Factory Auctions offers antique and vintage items that proudly display the natural signs of their age and previous use.
