1903 Colt Model New Army 1903 .38 caliber DA revolver. Top of barrel stamped Colt's PT F A MFG Co. Hartford CT USA. Patented Aug. 5. 1884 Nov. 6. 88. Mar. 5. 95. and Colt D.A. 38 on the left side. RAC (Rinaldo A. Carr ) stamped on bottom of barrel. Left frame is stamped 1903. Cylinder release is stamped with K and 5609. Frame and crane are both stamped 5609. Wood grips with 5609 written in pencil inside. Butt is stamped U.S. Army model 1903. Caliber / Gauge: 38 Barrel Length: 6" Serial Number: 205609 Classification: C&R / FFL Condition: Barrel: Gray patina with some bluing remaining. Bore: Light wear with good rifling. Cylinder: Gray patina with some bluing remaining and dragline. Frame: Gray patina with some bluing remaining. Grips: Moderate wear with 0.75” piece broken from front of left grip. Mechanically good.
