Starr Arms Model 1858 Army 45 caliber cartridge conversion DA revolver. Crown over U German proof marks on cylinder, barrel, and frame. Serial number matches on frame, hammer, and back strap. 40 stamped on top strap and frame. 36 stamped on frame and cylinder. Wood grip. Caliber / Gauge: 45 Barrel Length: 6" Serial Number: 7574 Classification: Antique Condition: Barrel: Mottled patina. Bore: Light wear with good rifling and minor oxidation. Cylinder: Mottled patina with prominent dragline. Frame: Mottled patina with minor scuffs. Grips: Light wear with 0.3” chip in front bottom. Mechanically poor, trigger does not function properly.
