This is an antique illustrated children's hardcover titled This Year's Book for Children, filled with stories and verse by British authors including May Byron, Lucy Diamond, and Agnes Herbertson. The book features a colorful pasted pictorial cover showing a procession of children, decorative endpapers with winged infant illustrations, and numerous color and line drawings throughout. It measures approximately 11 inches tall. The volume shows heavy wear, with a rubbed and chipped spine, frayed cover edges, soiling, and a cracked front hinge with the board beginning to loosen.
