Issued in September 1942 for the Winterhilfswerk campaign, this trio of pressed glass donation badges stems from the "Deutsche Baudenkmäler" series. The pieces measure 1 to 1.25 inches high and feature intaglio-molded landmarks highlighted with dark pigments. The left badge is molded in green glass and depicts the Prinz Eugen Monument in Vienna. The middle badge is molded in a bright lime-green uranium glass variant that fluoresces brilliantly under ultraviolet light, featuring the Hermannsdenkmal monument. The final badge on the right is molded in a smoke-tinted clear glass and also portrays the Hermannsdenkmal. Each piece features a flat reverse and a molded horizontal channel for a mounting pin. The green piece shows a minor flake on its top edge, and all units display light surface wear. PM
