This glazed porcelain plate showcases a sepia-toned central portrait transfer of Generalfeldmarschall Paul von Hindenburg in military attire. An Iron Cross insignia dated 1914 sits above the portrait, flanked by arched sprigs of laurel and oak leaves. The lower edge features the arched German inscription "Generalfeldmarschall v. Hindenburg." Designed with a subtly scalloped rim highlighted by a thin gold border, the plate measures 9.5" in diameter. The reverse is entirely unmarked and shows minor, expected scuffing along the base ring, while the front surface displays light scratches across the portrait transfer.
