This German Westwall Medal features an oval zinc design with an eagle over a crossed shovel and sword above a defensive bunker motif. The reverse displays the raised inscription "Für Arbeit zum Schutze Deutschlands." This piece retains its circular suspension ring but lacks the fabric ribbon. It shows minor surface wear and a naturally aged gray patina. Accompanying the medal is its paper presentation envelope, which features the Gothic script title "Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen" on the front and a clear "Carl Poellath Schrobenhausen" maker stamp on the back. The envelope exhibits expected age toning and light edge wear. Measurements are 1 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. OT
