This collection consists of five molded plastic Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation badges representing the annexed region of Kattowitz. The group features two red, two white, and one yellow plastic piece, each designed with a central oval frame containing an embossed coat of arms depicting a hammer and gear. The city name "Kattowitz" is clearly visible in relief along the bottom border of each frame. Distributed during wartime charity drives to mark the integration of Upper Silesia into the Reich, these tokens remain intact, and one example retains its original white suspension string. They show minor surface wear, light scuffing, and minor color variations from production and storage. Each measures 1 1/4" high by 1" wide. OT
