This grouping includes sixteen Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation pins produced during the Third Reich between 1933 and 1945. The assortment is composed primarily of hand-painted terracotta and molded composition pieces depicting character busts, birds, stylized flowers, and whimsical folk-art figures from several WHW fundraising series. Several pieces retain their original pin hardware, while others are missing fasteners or show oxidation to the metal components. Paint wear, scattered chips, surface soiling, and age-related handling marks are present throughout, consistent with use and storage. These decorative pins were distributed during WHW charitable collections and represent a varied cross-section of the organization's collectible fundraising issues. OT
