This grouping consists of eleven German pebbled metal uniform buttons in mixed gray-painted and natural metallic finishes, each measuring 3/4" - 1" in diameter. The buttons feature the standard convex face with integral loop shanks and are marked on the reverse by several period manufacturers, including examples stamped "Extra Fein" and "Patentiert." The assortment displays typical variations in finish, with several retaining their original field-gray paint while others exhibit light oxidation, finish wear, and age-related patina. These buttons represent the standard hardware used on a variety of German military, police, and government uniforms during the 1930s and 1940s. OT
