Pink cloth-covered photo album containing a mounted black-and-white souvenir photographs (106) of Italy, primarily documenting Rome and Naples. Featured landmarks include St. Peter's Basilica and Square, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Venezia, the Victor Emmanuel II Monument, Trevi Fountain, the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, Castel dell'Ovo, and other notable sites. A printed German-language index identifies each view, including the former Forum Mussolini (today Foro Italico), placing the album in the late 1930s to early 1940s. Some photographs in this album may be vintage photographic copies rather than original copies. The album measures approximately 9" x 13" and retains its mounted photographs with expected age toning, light cover wear, and minor page discoloration. SW
