Tan linen-bound Wehrdienst Ehrendienst remembrance album published by Wilhelm Limpert-Verlag, Berlin/Dresden, personalized for a soldier of 1./Nachrichten-Abteilung 6 at Bielefeld. Handwritten entries record service beginning 2 November 1937 and the oath ceremony on 10 November 1937. The album combines the printed commemorative volume with numerous mounted photographs (121)documenting signals training, field telephone and radio operations, barracks life, winter exercises, parades, military vehicles, and comrades. Captions identify locations, personnel, and training activities. The binding remains sound with light cover soiling and edge wear consistent with age. Some photographs in this album may be vintage photographic copies rather than original copies. SW
