This leather-bound German Army photo album measures 7.5 by 10.5 inches and features a silver metal helmet plaque on the cover along with a cord closure. A handwritten dedication inside marks it as a birthday gift dated March 16, 1940. Across 24 double-sided pages, the album houses 164 black-and-white photographs documenting Heer recruit training, weapons instruction, artillery exercises, flag ceremonies, and daily life at Hegerholz Kaserne.
