Early war all stitched (no copper rivets) version of this regulation cartridge box for the Colt or Remington revolver. Principally issued to enlisted cavalry men or officers this box is unmarked except for the "sunburst" style and often seen leather punch marks left by the maker. This box is in, nearly, unissued condition.
