Very rare item. This WWII German serving container came from Herman Goring's personal train. Deutsche Reichsbahn. The matching double container with lids are designed for table top use on a train and not move or spill in transit. Marked Bruckman plated silver. Each container is numbered to the base. Number 3 and number 4. Everything was in prefect order with the German Military and each item on these trains has the number of the train car stamped on them. This was carried in car 253 which was Goring's Train Communication and Situation Car. Very scarce and highly collectible. The photos attached are from a German Communications officer's album showing the Goring's DR train and actual communications car.
