1980 Topps Burger King Phillies — Pete Rose Sealed Pack. An original unopened 1980 Topps Burger King Phillies pack with Pete Rose showing face-out on the front through the factory cellophane, and the Topps/Burger King checklist card visible on the back. Three cards sealed inside, never opened. These were a Philadelphia-only regional promotion — three cards free with an order of large fries — and nearly all of them were ripped open in the restaurant the day they were handed out, which makes intact packs genuinely uncommon four and a half decades later. Charlie Hustle in his second season in Philadelphia, the free-agent signing that pushed the Phillies over the top. Baseball's all-time hits leader with 4,256, a 17-time All-Star, and the veteran presence at first base for the franchise's first World Series title. Case-fresh from an original sealed case (#390, 1,344 packets), never searched or resealed. A terrific display piece for a Phillies collection and a true survivor from the 1980 World Championship season.
