1980 Topps Burger King Phillies — 22 unopened packs, complete player run visible. A hand-sorted run of 22 unopened 1980 Topps Burger King Phillies packs, pulled case-fresh from an original sealed case (#390, 1,344 packets), and arranged so that every one of the 22 players in the set appears as the visible top card — Dallas Green through Kevin Saucier, the full checklist, without a single pack being opened. The clear cellophane wrappers make the whole run readable at a glance: Mike Schmidt, Pete Rose, Steve Carlton, Tug McGraw, Larry Bowa, Greg Luzinski, Garry Maddox, Bob Boone, and the rest of the roster that went on to win the 1980 World Series — the first championship in Phillies history. These were regional-only, handed out in the Philadelphia market with an order of large fries, and the overwhelming majority were torn open on the spot. Surviving unopened packs are uncommon; a matched run showing all 22 players is something you simply don't assemble without a case to work from. Each pack holds 3 cards (66 cards total), so there's real break value inside on top of the display appeal. Worth noting for set builders: five players carry pose variations found nowhere in the standard 1980 Topps issue, and John Vukovich, Lonnie Smith, and Keith Moreland have no regular 1980 Topps card at all — these are their only Topps representation that year. A superb display piece for a Phillies collection, and a rare chance to own the complete checklist still sealed.
