A display pedestal of square columnar form dating from the late 20th century. The piece is finished in alternating vertical slats of polished and brushed brass-tone metal. The top consists of a square glass insert featuring a textured wavy pattern to the underside. The design is executed in the Hollywood Regency style, resembling works attributed to Curtis Jere. Dimensions (read from tape showing inches): Height approx. 80.6 cm, Width approx. 26.7 cm, Depth approx. 26.7 cm. Condition: The pedestal exhibits signs of age and wear including surface scratches, scuffs, and minor indentations to the metal panels. There is visible pitting and light oxidation to the polished surfaces. The glass top has several small chips along the edges.
