A Victorian style cast metal garden bench featuring a grape and leaf pattern. The backrest and arms are formed of dense openwork castings depicting winding vines, large serrated leaves, and clusters of grapes. The curved seat displays a decorative pierced design of scrolling foliate motifs radiating from the centre. The piece is supported by four cabriole-style legs, cast with corresponding vine and grape decoration, terminating in splayed leafy feet. The structure is composed of multiple cast sections secured by metal bolts. Width approx. 36 inches Backrest height approx. 27 inches. Condition: The bench is in weathered condition suitable for outdoor use. There is general wear and loss to the white painted finish throughout, along with surface dirt and moss. Visible surface oxidation is present on several of the metal joining bolts. The overall structure appears stable.
