A set of six dining chairs by Italcraft Furniture Ltd, Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada, comprising two armchairs and four side chairs. The chairs are designed in the French Provincial or Louis XV style and are constructed from stained hardwood frames. Each chair features a shaped crest rail decorated with a centrally carved shell motif, supported by cabriole front legs and curved rear legs. The seats and backs are padded with polyurethane foam and upholstered in a peach and cream striped fabric. The underside of the seats retains the original manufacturer labels stating the maker, location, registration number 65 U 1486, and fabrication in Canada. The construction utilizes modern corner blocks and screws. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): H approx. 103 cm x W approx. 53 cm. Armrest height approx. 60 cm. Condition: The set is in good overall condition with signs of moderate use. There is visible scuffing and finish wear to the wood, particularly on the armrests and crest rails. The upholstery is generally clean, showing only minor spotting and light soiling consistent with age.
