This lot comprises two vintage educational toys designed for early childhood development. The first item is a Discovery Toys Playful Patterns Design Activity, identified by item number 2930. This set consists of a large assortment of multi-coloured foam geometric shapes, including triangles, rectangles, squares, circles, and semicircles in blue, yellow, green, orange, red, and purple. It includes several printed cardboard pattern guide cards and is contained within its original colour-printed cardboard box. The second item is a wooden alphabet and word matching puzzle housed in a wooden storage box. This educational game features a series of two-part sliding wooden tiles. The upper sections are printed with colour illustrations and corresponding words, including Question, Pencil, Tree, Orange, Jam, and Whale. The lower sections feature corresponding uppercase and lowercase letters. A small yellow plastic figurine is also present within the wooden box. Width of wooden puzzle box approx. 30.5 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: Both items are in a used, played-with condition. The Discovery Toys box shows typical shelf wear, including rubbing and minor crushing to the corners and edges. The internal foam shapes and cardboard cards appear well-preserved with minor signs of handling. The wooden alphabet puzzle shows visible play wear and surface marking, including a prominent dark scribble or stain on the tile featuring the orange illustration. The wooden storage box has minor surface scuffs and scratches consistent with age.
