This is a vintage handbell cast from brass with a polished exterior finish. The bell is designed with a turned handle featuring a rounded finial and a flared base. It contains a dark metal clapper suspended by a wire loop from the interior crown. The interior of the bell houses a white paper label printed with the words MADE IN INDIA and ITEM NO. This style of bell is commonly utilised as a dinner, service, or school bell. Condition: The exterior is in good overall condition with light surface scratches, small tarnish spots, and minor wear consistent with use. The interior exhibits a rough-cast texture with notable green verdigris and oxidisation, particularly around the rim and label. The metal clapper and its wire attachment show surface corrosion but remain functional.
