This resin bust is modelled after Michelangelo’s David, depicting the classical idealised facial features and textured hair of the original Renaissance sculpture. The surface is finished with a faux-aged metallic patina featuring copper and bronze tones with green verdigris-style highlights. The bust is mounted on a rectangular, black-painted composite plinth. A handwritten label identifies the material as resin. Height approx. 31.8 cm (measured against a tape measure). Condition: The sculpture is in good decorative condition. The base shows significant paint loss and chipping to the edges and corners, with further wear to the underside.
