A vintage galvanized metal wash boiler or laundry tub of oval form. The vessel is constructed from sheet metal and features horizontal reinforcement ribs around the body for structural integrity. Two riveted metal handles are attached to the ends of the tub. The unit includes a matching metal lid with a single strap handle. Condition: The boiler exhibits signs of age and utilitarian use, including widespread surface oxidation and white mineral deposits. Surface rust is visible on the lid and along the interior seams. Minor dents and abrasions are present throughout the metal surface.
