Fame Model 747 Acoustic-Electric, a vintage instrument built in Japan during the early-to-mid 1970s. It is most famous for its association with the F.A.M.E. (Famous American Musicians & Educators) program, which was a national introductory music curriculum backed by legendary fingerstyle virtuoso Chet Atkins. It comes factory-equipped with a magnetic single-coil pickup mounted directly across the end of the fretboard, right above the soundhole. Comes in hard case.
