This is a vintage Ventura V-1300G hollowbody electric guitar, built in Japan during the late 1960s to early 1970s.It serves as a highly regarded "Lawsuit Era" clone of the iconic Gibson ES-175 archtop jazz guitar. It replicates the deep, full-hollow body contour, dual humbucking pickups, independent volume/tone controls, split parallelogram fretboard inlays, and sharp Florentine cutaway. The guitar features an eye-catching sunburst finish displaying tight flame maple wood grain, balanced by an ornate wooden inlay set directly into the trapeze tailpiece. The headstock is stamped with the gold Ventura script logo alongside their signature yellow-tinted split-wing pearloid emblem. These instruments were manufactured in Japan's legendary Matsumoku (or early Aria/Fujigen) facility and imported by C. Bruno & Sons. Collectors prize them because their tone and craftsmanship closely rival original American models at a fraction of the cost. Comes in hard case with broken hinge.
