This pair of hardcover biographies includes a 1966 third printing of Charles H. Morgan’s The Life of Michelangelo and a 2001 Folio Society edition of Alexander Thayer’s Life of Beethoven. The Michelangelo volume is bound in orange cloth and features a red ink gift inscription: Merry Christmas 1967 To Bev. With love, Bud + Jo. The Beethoven biography is quarter-bound in decorative green and maroon cloth and includes its original brown cloth slipcase.Michelangelo height: 8. 5 inches Beethoven slipcase height: 10 inches.The Michelangelo volume displays moderate shelf wear with bumped and frayed spine ends and corners and is offered without a dust jacket. The Beethoven volume remains in good condition with light shelf rubbing noted on the slipcase and minor separation at top spine.
