This pair of framed landscape prints depicts Swiss alpine scenes, titled on the reverse as Village of Engadin and Lake Luzerne and Mt. Pilatus. The works are high-quality mechanical reproductions, likely watercolor lithographs, after original compositions by Nicolas Markovitch (Serbian-French, 1894–1964). Markovitch frequently used the pseudonym A. Marc for his commercial watercolor series depicting European travel scenes. Prints measure: 12"x 9.5"Both prints and frames are in good overall condition. The paper shows minor, uniform toning consistent with age, but remains free of foxing, water damage, or significant fading. The gilt wood frames exhibit light surface wear and minor scuffing, particularly at the corner joins. The black paper backings are largely intact with some light edge wear and minor surface abrasions.
