Victorian Silver-Plated Glass Claret Jug

This Victorian-style claret jug features a clear glass tapering body fitted with silver-plated mounts. The metalwork consists of a wide collar with floral repoussé decoration and a matching domed lid with a flame finial. An ornate cast C-scroll handle provides the primary decorative element.Height: 10.5 inches.Heavy tarnish and surface oxidation are visible throughout the silver-plated components. A spot of green verdigris is present at the upper handle joint on the collar. The glass body is clear and lacks major chips or cracks.
