This liturgical set by the Thomas Communion Service Co. of Lima, Ohio, includes a small flagon and a circular covered wafer box. Both pieces are composed of quadruple silver plate and feature minimalist horizontal banded incised lines. The wafer box is stamped THOMAS COMMUNION SERVICE CO. LIMA. O, QUADRUPLE SILVER PLATE, and 7533-7, while the flagon is incised 7534-7.Flagon height: 3.5 inchesWafer box height: 1.25 inchesWafer box diameter: 2.25 inches.Both pieces exhibit moderate to heavy tarnish and surface oxidation. Significant wear to the silver plating is visible on the flagon, particularly on the base and around the spout, revealing the darker base metal. The cork stopper is intact but shows significant age-related drying and wear.
