A tall clear lead crystal vase designed by Olle Alberius for Orrefors. The vessel features a tapering cylindrical form with deep vertical fluting. The design is distinguished by its crenelated or castle-style rim, where the vertical ribs terminate at staggered heights to create a jagged upper edge. The lower exterior of the body bears an acid-etched shield mark containing the text Orrefors Sweden and a swan icon. The underside of the base features a hand-incised signature reading Orrefors HA 4272-27.Height: 10.5 inchesWidth: 5 inches.The vase is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the body or the notched rim. Minor shelf wear is present on the underside of the base consistent with age and use.
