A set of eight mid-century modern lowball or rocks glasses featuring a decorative pattern by designer Irene Pasinski for The Washington Company of Washington, Pennsylvania. The glasses are made of clear glass adorned with an elaborate raised 22-karat gold-tone and teal enamel decoration. The design consists of repeating stylized floral medallions and peacock-inspired scrollwork fans set within a framework of scrolling foliate vines. Each glass is signed near the base with Pasinski in gold script. Adjacent to the signature is the Washington Company mark, which includes a stylized letter W topped with a crown icon and the word Washington in block lettering.Height: 3.25 inches. The glasses are in very good vintage condition. The raised gold decoration shows visible crazing and minor areas of loss, which is typical for hand-decorated mid-century glassware of this type. No chips, cracks, or structural damage are present.
